The boat was moored at the cove near the beach. The tide was in at this moment. He was sure it was about to turn. He had to make it in time. The danger of getting stuck at the beach was eminent.
He ran as fast as he was able, ignoring the stitch on his side, getting out of breath with every step. Freedom lay on the other bank. He could almost taste it. For now all he tasted was the salty air. Bullets whizzed past him, evading him by inches.
He had to think fast now.
He spotted a motorcycle and hopped on to it, and raced to the boat. As he neared the boat, he flung himself off the motorcycle and somersaulted on to the deck.
Just as he was about to get up…….
“Cut” yelled the director.
“Great shot! Well done!”
The hero’s body double brushed himself off. Just another day at work.

Loved it! Fun twist at the end. I feel for the double, he does the grunt work and the hero gets to romance the heroine. Not fair 😀
