Twenty five year old Sri wiped his sweat from his eyes and looked across the ocean. He had just finished his shift and had come on to the deck for a breather. He worked on this huge cargo ship. It was back-bending work, but Sri enjoyed it.
Across the ocean, he could see a luxury liner cruising along. Both ships were headed in the same direction.
Sri thought of the rich people on the liner, about how they had all the luxuries at their finger tips, and great clothes to wear, and great food to eat.
Though they both were headed to the same port now, their destinations would be so different.
“But”, thought Sri, “I have something that they don’t have.
I have my sleep, coz I have nothing to lose!”
