“Ha ha ha”, my friend guffawed. “You are so funny, you should be a standup comic”
That set me thinking.
Should I? I did enjoy making others laugh. It always gave me a thrill. Much more than what I do now.
But, how to tell Dad?
He would be heart broken.
I was the sixth generation musician in our musical family. My dad was my Guru. We perform together and now we have built up a reputation.
Can I break away from my legacy’s shadow? What about tradition?
“Dad…….” I said hesitatingly.
“I know what you want to say, son. Go ahead my boy. Find your path”
