For the past 18 years, I have been a part of a crowd of 3 people. Constantly! 🙂
Let me explain.
My two kids and me. We are a crowd just on our own!
I have always taken them wherever I went, grocers, vegetable market, medicine shop, just walking, everywhere.
Of course, now it has reduced. I am talking about the time when they were too small to be left alone at home. So wherever I went, they came too. I remember once when I joined yoga classes to help with my back pain. They came along too some days, whenever my husband was late from office. Picture me trying to calmly do my yoga as per my teacher’s instructions and also keeping an eye on the 4 and 6 year olds playing. Then, of course, the younger one has to go the bathroom just then, so I stop my asana and run to help her. So calming!
When we walked on the road, I found it easier to hold each child on my either side. So, essentially I was always in the middle. Now, we are so used to this arrangement, that we still walk in the same pattern! Not holding hands of course. The only difference is that then I was the tallest amidst the three of us, and now I am not!
I guess, a whole lot of people have noticed us. The vegetable fellow, the other day said, “Madam, you have come alone today. Your bodyguards are missing?” Oh! LOL! 😀
I used to drop off and pickup my kids on my scooty pep. One child in front, other behind. Notice I am in the middle again! 🙂 This arrangement continued till the younger became too tall to sit in the front. So then she too was behind me. Then one day, we three became too much of a crowd for the poor scooty. There was never enough place for 2 large school bags, 2 lunch boxes apart from all of us. Then we shifted to the car!
Anyway, we are still a crowd. We still do a lot of things together. Don’t want to think of the day when they will fly away and I will be alone!

Three is not a crowd if the other two are your kids, I guess! That is when one simply loves being a crowd and a threesome. Nice take on the prompt.
Here is my #barathon 3rd post.

Three’s a happy crowd in this case. As you said, you will be a singleton soon and you will miss the days when you were a crowd.

Oh what a sweet post on the prompt Meena; loved the tale of three. I can just imagine you trying to hold the asana and then your kid wanting to go pee pee 😉
